Well, what can I say about my Personal Life Coach, Mr. Thomas Taylor? I can start out by saying, that I have had the most amazing 12-week sessions with him. Let me tell you how it all started. For over a year, I had been looking for a Personal Life Coach. I tried out 2 very capable people, but found out they were not a good fit for me. Back in the third quarter of last year, I was in my bed scrolling through Facebook and Instagram respectively.
[read more]I came across a video that Mr. Taylor created that dealt with hearing and actually following through on your goals- even when you are unsure of what to do or how to get there. Immediately after the video, I connected with him through a casual telephone conversation. We also connected with a mutual colleague because we both saw the same video. After the conversation, Mr. Taylor’s words, “what are you waiting for?” rung loudly in my head. True enough, I had extreme anxiety issues about trusting anyone with my deepest personal triumphs and issues. He knew about that- as we have known one another from various jobs we had been on together over the past 15 or so years. Mr. Taylor offered me a deal that I could not refuse. He asked me to trust him and if I listened to his Coaching, he would provide meaningful insight to help me navigate through the “next steps” in my life. In July of 2021, I decided to take him up on his offer to “trust him” with my very personal fears, hopes, dreams, and unfulfilled goals. I had soooo much going on. I was really at cross-roads. I had issues with my grown adult children, career advancements I wanted to make, weight issues, depression, financial and relationship issues. I had to make some decisions that would catapult me into my next season.
At first, I thought we were just going through the motions with our conversations, but Mr. Taylor took detailed notes and was able to carve out a roadmap to help me achieve my goals. During one of our sessions, I had a breakthrough. A sort of “ah ha” moment- if you will. I was going on and on about trusting God and what my method was for knowing I was hearing directly from God. Because I mentioned God, Mr. Taylor was able to use the bible as a tool to show me how God was actually showing me something different, but I was not hearing it because I was so used to hearing from God the way I had been doing for over 15 years. The revelation Mr. Taylor gave me brought me to tears, I thought to myself, ‘how could I have missed that?’ From that day on, everything that Mr. Taylor outlined for me to do in the roadmap he created for me, I did.
In such a short span of time, I saw changes in my life by leaps and bounds. I was excited to have an accountability partner that was generally in my corner to see me succeed. As a direct result of our sessions, my life is moving away from the chaos and in to “order.” I have created clear cut boundaries with my grown children and set milestones for their transition from my home into their own home. I have let go of some toxic relationships. I am on track with my finances. Most of all, that career change I wanted…… whelp, today I signed off on an agreement that will net me the 6 figures I was looking for.
I haven’t even told Mr. Taylor about it yet. Thank you so much for your guidance, Mr. Taylor. I can’t wait for our next sessions to begin.[/read]
